Mr. Handyman of Western Wake County donated a day of service to The Center for Volunteer Caregiving on September 11. Two of our care receivers were the beneficiaries of Mr. Handyman’s generosity.

The crew made several home repairs for Ms. G in Raleigh, including grab bars, new blinds and new door hardware. She said, “I am so pleased with the work they did! I love looking around my place now – it has gotten a big improvement!” And Mr. G in Fuquay Varina, who had been stuck in his apartment since he started using a motor scooter, has new-found freedom with his beautiful wooden ramp. He grinned as he watched the workers build it, and lit up thinking about where he would go once it was finished. Mr. G has big plans to visit local shops and restaurants. His quality of life improved tremendously, thanks to Mr. Handyman!

Mr. Handyman has regularly donated to the community over the years, including previous work with The Center. They are a talented team committed to giving back.

See their website at Mr. Handyman.com (search zip code 27607) or call for more information: 919-424-3780. Tell them you heard about them through The Center!
